Funding is critical to accomplishing our mission. Your donation, no matter how big, will help and is appreciated.

Tax Deductible
The ZPE Project Group is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, so for our USA based donors, your donation is "deductible".

How to donate:

Scan the QR code above to donate with Venmo mobile app or hit the  Zeffy for donations by credit card or bank transfer, or the PayPal button for credit/debit cards. Zeffy passes all donations on to us, but has a high default "optional service" tip that is suggested - but can be changed or eliminated by using the down arrow and selecting "other". Venmo and PayPal charge us a reasonable 2% fee. For other options or if you have questions, please contact us at email donate@zpepg.com

Visit our Fund This page for  immediate funding needs. We are staging several projects that need your support.

How will your Donation be Used?
Unlike many non-profits, we have no paid employees. All our work within the organization is done by volunteers, including our Directors and Executives. So, all funding goes to program and administration costs.

Acquisition of Technology
The largest potential cost to us is the procurement of ZPE technology and expertise. This can run into hundreds of thousands of dollars, to perhaps a few million, depending on how close we judge the technology/information to be to meeting our goals. A firm requirement of any technology acquisition agreement is that the owner of the technology must agree to our public disclosure of our test results and vetted designs in an open-source manner to the public. It is important to understand that there are technologies that can greatly accelerate our progress and the probability of our success if we can acquire access to them, especially if they include some of the following:

  • Credible demonstration of the device in operation
  • A knowledgeable "domain expert" with device-specific expertise to assist with technology transfer
  • Documentation - designs, theories of operation, test results, etc.
  • Compliance with our device requirements specifications
  • Patent, technology ownership

Operations Expenses
There are two main cost centers associated with our operations: (1) organization and (2) devices.

Organizational expenses include things like:

    • IT: storage, website, teamwork platforms, software development/versioning, software licenses, streaming service, etc.
    • external contractors: legal, accounting, etc.
    • travel: technology acquisition, education, collaboration

Device related  expenses

    • standard parts: electronic, electrical, magnets, boxes, test rigs
    • custom parts and assemblies: machined/fabricated parts, coils, 3D printing
    • custom tooling
    • test equipment
    • lab/test space when needed
    • standard testing/certification fees (safety, compliance)
